How can anyone not love Canna species and cultivars (common name: Canna Lily; Family: Cannaceae)? Ever so colourful and pretty, the vibrant herbaceous plant have been used in horticulture and landscaping for many years on.I recalled vividly the many colours of Cannas planted near the crescent-shaped fountain outside the former National Theater and Van Cleef Aquarium. Unfortunately, I do not have any old photos to show for it. So I attach below a photo and the original link where the photo was downloaded.
