I have been looking at this Bauhinia tree since the time I saw its white flowers some 2 years ago. I wonder if it is a Bauhinia aculeata (common name: White Orchid Tree) with its lanceolate-petaled white blooms.

Though as spectacular as the other more colourful members, it is an interesting addition to a Bauhinia collection. Another white flowered Bauhinia acuminata (common name: Dwarf White Bauhinia) that I planted at the HortPark Carpark Garden is posted in the 1st link below:
