FICUS DELTOIDEA

This is another part of the Native Garden. Apparently this Ficus deltoidea (synonym: F. diversifolia) is native to this region.

The golden underside of the round leaves and its interesting fruits are what attracted me to this plant. The leaves were known to be used to make tea. There is also another variety that has smaller and narrower leaves.

It can be displayed as an indoor plant at areas where there is sufficient filtered light.
