I bought this Slipper Orchid during the Gardening Bazaar in September and watched this floral bud developed over the weeks.Then, a few days ago, I decided to shift it and I don't know if I accidentally brushed it against something or what, but the entire floral bud detached itself from the peduncle and dropped onto my feet. At that moment, because everything happened so suddenly, I thought a cockroach jumped from my plants onto me. It could very well be bud blast brought about by a sudden change in environment.
Anyway, it was so disappointing. The bud was developing so well and I was so looking forward to see the flower. Well, I hope I have better luck next time.
