DINGY BUSH BROWN

This butterfly resting on the Norantea guianensis looks like a Dingy Bush Brown (scientific name: Mycalesis perseus cepheus) from the Nymphalidae Family.

The inflorescence of the Norantea also attracted a lot of fire ants that freaked me out.
