Someone was looking for photos of the Platycerium coronarium (common name: Stag's Horn Fern, Staghorn Fern; Family: Polypodiaceae) and I found these photos that I took along Ophir Road on 19 Dec 08.In fact, I was the one who planted these ferns on the rows of Angsana trees in preparation for the World Trade Organization Conference (WTOC) in either 1997 or 1998. Now these ferns are so established and big like a big crown. The distinctive infertile nest fronds and fertile fronds are unmistakable.
