These are the animals in the basement food court - a dragonfly, beetle, white antelope, driftwood horse, stone godzilla (?) and a stuffed peacock.I was told the stone animal is a chinese mystical creature qi lin (麒麟) but with the spokes along the back, it looked like a miniature godzilla to me. But everything else is fake, except for the stuffed peacock.
I wonder how it feels to be dead and preserved, much like the human cadavers at the recent bizzare human museum exhibition. Or rather, it is freakish to be preserved since one is incapable of feeling anything when one is dead.
