RUELLIA COLORATA

The flowers of this scrambling shrub is typical of the Acanthaceae Family. Recently, this patch of Wild Petunia or Colorama flowered profusely at Floral Walk and caught my attention with its scarlet bracts.

As with most plants from the family, the flowers are prone to aphids or mealy bugs infestation. A link on this plant is attached below:
