AUSTRALIA - BRISBANE

I finally found the name of this uncommon blue flower plant at Aspley's Nursery. From the Plumbaginaceae Family, which includes the common Plumbago capensis, this similar looking untidy shrub is known by the common name Chinese Plumbago or Hardy Plumbago (scientific name: Ceratostigma willmottianum). There was also the red-leaved Azalea indica 'Shiraz' which is grown for its red new leaf flushes. Frankly, I have never seen the flowers.

Finally, there was the Echinacea purpurea (common name: Purple Coneflower) which I posted previously from the Eden Garden Nursery.
