I have been picking up the young black and yellow millipedes from one of my big potted plant for a couple of weeks on now. Seriously, I don't mind seeing just a few millipedes but I think what I am experiencing now would be classified as an epidemic of sorts.It was easy to pick out and discard the adult millipedes early on but there seemed to be lots and lots of the young beige yellow creepy crawlies that emerge to the soil surface every day. But I refused to use the pesticide treatment although it would definitely work.
The dynamo cap is slowly filling up with the carcasses of the young millipedes.
