NOVENA SQUARE

Novena Square is also decked up in christmas decor in preparation for the upcoming holidays. I always find the christmas season very anti-climax here in Singapore because at least a month before, everywhere is adorned with christmas trees and all related stuff e.g. carols, jingles, but yet when it is christmas, everywhere suddenly becomes very dead and no shops are open for business.

It is almost as if the town area is infected with a deadly virus and everyone has to stay indoors to protect themselves. Then immediately after that, it all goes downhill when everyone seems to have completely forgotten about christmas. Whatever happened to the 12 days of christmas, i wonder? We should at least celebrate it for 12 days, shouldn't we?

Right now, we should just let the red christmas tree and white reindeers and snowflakes remind us of the approaching christmas season.
