CYCAS PECTINATA

These 2 Cycas pectinata cycads are always so unfortunate in that their newly developed fronds are always attacked by pests.

The only time they looked pristine was when I first planted them at the Floral Walk. Other than that, they always look terrible. From afar, anyone can tell the fronds were badly under siege. Upon close inspection, there were numerous moth caterpillars having a whale of a time defoliating the young whorl of fronds.
