SAIL HAT

At the Spectacle Garden of Roma Street Parkland, there was a sail and a hat!

The metallic sail did not quite fit in to the entire landscape. But I cannot deny it looked interesting from most angles.

Then there was a floral hat that we saw from afar but did not know what plants were used until we went nearer it. It was planted in 4 quadrants with 4 different varieties of Coleus (Solenostemon scutellarioides). I was wondering how they planted it to that height. My itchy fingers pried amongst the plants and I discovered a structure that was all too familiar to me. The plants were planted on a garsy system of tiered trays. We can do that too.

Mystery solved!
