I have absolutely no idea what plant this is but I bought it from Thailand last year.Thus far, it has been doing well and we managed to propagate this surprisingly hardy and pests and diseases free plant.
I think it should be from the Poaceae (Gramineae) Family and should be planted more in our parks and streetscapes because of its beautiful variegated leaves.
