CLERODENDRUM x SPECIOSUM

Often mistaken as the Clerodendrum thomsoniae, this species is actually C. x speciosum (common name: Java Glory Vine, Heart Vine; Family: Verbenaceae), which is possibly a cross between C. splendens and C. thomsoniae.

The difference is the former has cream bracts while the latter has pink bracts. Whilst both have the same common name Bleeding Heart, I feel the former is more deserving of this name as the contrast in colour is greater between the flowers and bracts.
