I think the former is the Cochlospermum religiosum ( common name: Buttercup Tree; Family: Bixaceae) and the latter is the native Buchanania arborescens (Blume) Blume (common name: Little Gooseberry Tree, Satinwood, Buffy Fish Owl, Sparrow's Mango; Family: Anacardiaceae).Some links on the trees are attached:
